What the demo request form collects.

This short notice covers the enquiry form on this website and nothing else. The data your business puts into the GeniusPos system is a separate and much larger subject, and it has its own policy.

What it takes

Your name, email address, phone number, the state you are in, and any message you write — only the message is optional. Your IP address and the time you sent it are recorded alongside, which is what lets us tell a real enquiry from an automated one and stop the same source flooding the form. This is the only form on the site.

There is no analytics script and no advertising script here, so nothing counts your visits, builds a profile of you, or follows you to other websites. The only cookie is the one the security check on the form needs in order to work.

Who sees it, and where it goes

It is emailed to our sales address and read by the people who will reply to you, and it is written to a file on our own server, outside the public area of the website, readable only by the account that runs the site. It is not published anywhere and no part of this website can be made to display it.

The only outside party is Cloudflare, whose security check the form uses to tell a person from a bot. That check sees your IP address when you submit. We use your enquiry to answer you and for nothing else — we do not add you to a mailing list, and we never sell, rent or trade your details.

How long, and how to have it removed

We keep enquiries so we can pick up a conversation you started. We will delete yours as soon as you ask, and you do not have to give a reason.

Under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 you may also ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent at any time.
