How do I charge SST and service charge without redoing every price?

Set it once, in settings. SST can be charged at 6%, at 8%, or both together where a bill carries items that are rated differently — a kitchen and a bar on the same receipt do not have to be two systems to get their rates right. Service charge is 10% and sits alongside it rather than inside it.

The choice that matters most is whether the menu price a customer reads already includes the tax or has it added at the end. Both are supported and it is a setting, not a rebuild: switching does not mean re-entering a menu’s worth of prices, and the receipt reflects whichever way a restaurant has chosen to present them.

What a customer gets is a receipt where the food, the service charge and the tax are separate lines instead of one total nobody can check. What an owner gets is the same separation in the reports, so what was taken and what was collected on someone else’s behalf do not have to be pulled apart by hand at the end of the month.
