How do I take orders without a server standing at every table?

You don’t. The customer does it.

A QR code on the table opens the menu on their own phone. They add what they want, type how they want it done, and send it — and the kitchen has it without anyone keying it in a second time. That single step is the labour a restaurant otherwise spends walking to tables and writing things down.

Collection and delivery run through the same flow, so someone picking up at the counter or having food brought over is reading the same menu as someone sitting at a table. Pulling a sold-out dish or changing a price happens once, centrally. A paper menu has already gone to the printer by then.

These orders land where every other order lands. No second tablet propped up beside the till, no separate inbox anyone has to remember to check. Payment goes through GeniusPos’s own online gateway, so a customer pays by card, e-wallet or online banking without a staff member ever touching their phone — and if a table’s device drops offline mid-order, an alert says so before it turns into a missing order.

Membership carries across too: a returning customer’s points and discounts apply without anyone looking them up. Item discounts, buy-one-get-one deals and upsell prompts can run on dine-in, collection or delivery alike. And the menu itself can be shown on the restaurant’s own Facebook page, so somebody who found the place there starts an order without being sent somewhere else first. Messenger sits beside it for the questions that come up on the way — a line to the restaurant, not a second channel orders arrive down.
