What does the POS connect to — payments, delivery, and my accounts?

Work with it. GeniusPos isn’t built to replace the accounting software a restaurant already runs — it’s built to feed it. Sales data syncs with SQL Accounting, so the books and the till work from one set of numbers, and nobody re-types a daily total into a spreadsheet on the way.

Payment integration is arranged by processor rather than by wallet, because where the sale happens decides who handles it. Online orders are processed by AxiataPay. A self-service kiosk goes through Finexus, and so does the dynamic QR shown on a customer-facing display, where the code carries the amount rather than making the customer key it in. A terminal that has to keep taking payment when the line to the internet does not is handled by PMA. Which of them a shop needs follows from how it sells, not from a package tier.

Delivery goes through the same system, not an app bolted on beside it. Online orders leave through Lalamove, chosen per shop rather than signed away per contract. Grab is integrated into the POS itself: a Grab order arrives at the outlet and prints in the kitchen like any other, instead of a second tablet on the counter that somebody has to remember to watch.

The thread running through all of it is double handling. Each connection exists to stop payments, delivery and the books being three systems that don’t talk to each other.
